On the cusp of 2023, Pastor Justin Lockhart declared that this year would be one of activation! It would be a year where we say goodbye to the fear, frustration, depression, spiritual apathy and lazy commitment to our faith that has been holding so many of us in bondage. Instead, we say hello to a place of spiritual activation, a place where the peace of God that surpasses all understanding is alive, a place where our abilities to dream and envision again is empowered, a place where the fire of God is ignited in our souls and where we have an unyielding desire to worship Him and fellowship with His people.
Focus - Min. Patricia Layne
As we begin our 21 days of prayer and fasting for this year, we encourage you to remain focused on growing closer to God during this journey. Ask God to remove any distractions that will take away from you going deeper in your faith.

Keep My Eyes Up – Housefires & Ryan Ellis
New Beginning - Min. Kenton David
Be encouraged, that in the eyes of God, our past doesn’t always dictate our future. Let us rejoice in the fact that God keeps no record of our past and wrongdoings, and furthermore, that He does not use them against us. As we go to pray, let us release the burden of the guilt and shame that may be hindering us from our developing our relationship with God and let us give thanks to Him for His mercies that are new every morning.
Luke 15:11-24

Appetite for God - Noel Chase
Just as our bodies hunger and thirst for physical food and drink, so does our spirit hunger and thirst for God. To satisfy this spiritual craving, we must feed on the word of God to provide nourishment. As we go to pray, ask yourself, do you have a hunger for God? If the answer is no, think about the things that are distracting you from yearning for God and ask Him to remove those distractions that are getting in the way of your pursuing Him.

Relationship w/God’s Word - Pastor Justin
Sometimes in life, the answers we seek, are already revealed to us. If we open our Bibles, we have on full display the ways in which God wants us to live our lives. The only way to truly understand His word, is to commune with Him on a regular basis so that He can impart wisdom and understanding to us. As we go to pray, let us ask pray and ask for wisdom and understanding and for a desire to always seek out God’s Word.

Surrender - Rev. Jenille Harrison
We can all probably agree that trust is one of the qualities that is essential in any relationship and without it, what do you really have? Our relationship with God is built on both faith and trust. It means not just acknowledging God when things are going well in our lives but also acknowledging Him when we face challenges. If we submit and surrender ourselves to God’s will, He will guide our way. As we pray, let us ask God for the courage to submit to Him wholeheartedly so that His will can manifest in our lives.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Nothing Else - Cody Carnes
Worship - Min. Kenton David
If we’re being honest with ourselves, sometimes we get caught up in the performance of praise and worship on a Sunday morning that we forget what it truly means to worship God. While singing and making a joyful noise unto the Lord is important and necessary to show honor, appreciation and adoration, that is not all worship is! Worship is more than just singing and dancing, it is an active choice to live a life that is dedicated to serving God in everything we do. As we pray, let us commit to truly worshipping God by not what we say or do but how we live our lives.

Partnership w/ Holy Spirit - Min. Rachel David
Before Jesus was crucified, he told His disciples that the Spirit of Truth, the Holy Spirit, will be revealed to them. The Holy Spirit, in place of Jesus in the physical world, was meant to guide the believers of Christ to information that they in their limited capacity could not see or hear with their own eyes and ears, truths directly from Jesus. The same is true for us today. While we have the ability to communicate directly with Jesus, the Holy Spirit serves as a conduit that reveals the information He wants us to know to be able to live our lives according to God’s will. As we go to pray, let us thank God for the gift of the Holy Spirit and let us pray that there will always be room for in us to be filled with the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
John 16:13-15

Revival - Min. Rachel David
As beautiful as life can be, there is no such thing as a perfect life. We will all experience challenges in life, in our relationships, school, work, finances, health, even our faith. As much as we would want to avoid some of these obstacles, we can’t. That said, we have the opportunity to turn to God to help revive and restore us when things become too difficult. So ask yourself, where in your life do you need a revival? As we pray, we encourage you to go boldly and humbly before God to thank Him for the opportunity to be revived and restored by Him.

Christlike Mind -Margaret Orakwue
We’ve all heard the saying, “do as I say, not as I do”. Maybe we’ve heard it from a parent, a teacher or some other authority figure. However well intentioned the person may be, if we really think about it, it’s a bit hypocritical. We are being held to a standard that the person who is instructing us does not adhere to. However, Jesus, in His perfect splendor calls us to be more like Him so that our lives can be a living example to those who may not Him. As we pray, let us ask God to help us become more like so that we can living testimonies and effective missionaries of the Gospel.

Imagination - Noel Chase
Could you imagine the thoughts going through the mind of the person who built the world’s first skyscraper or better yet what was going through the minds of the person(s) who invented the world wide web? Now think about all of the things, big and small, that you dream and imagine for yourself or your family? The ability to imagine and create things in our mind and then actualize them is one of the many gifts we receive from God. He is a God who can do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or think so as we go to pray, let us first thank Him for the gift of imagination and let us ask that our dreams be aligned with His will for us.

Peace - Pastor Justin
Sometimes the stresses of life, like school, work, family, health or finances tend to weigh us down in such a way that we can’t seem to lift it off of us. And in some instances, when this happens we tend to forget that we have someone in our lives who can heal and restore what’s is broken or not working in our lives, if only we seek Him. The peace of God is knowing that He is with us at all times and that we are never alone. As we pray, let us ask God to take full control of our lives and grant us peace in all aspects of your life, the peace that surpasses all understanding.

Authenticity - Min. Kenton David
I’m sure you’ve all heard honesty is the best policy. As disciples of Christ, we are all called to live a life reflective of the one Christ lived but as humans we are inherently flawed. In a world of sinful nature, the church and its people are meant to serve as beacons of light for those who are lost and the only way we can do that is to always strive to be more like Christ and be honest with ourselves and others when we fall short. As we pray, let us ask God for help in being more authentically like Him in our lives.

Faith - Margaret Orakwue
Wisdom and understanding is more than just knowing facts. It's great to have knowledge at your fingertips but if you don't know how to comprehend the meaning of those facts, what good is knowing it. The goal as believers should always be to not only pursue information but to be able understand it and have the wisdom to know how to use that knowledge and apply to our lives. As we go to God in prayer, let us ask for Him to impart the gifts of wisdom and understanding into us so that we can use our experiences and the knowledge we acquire to live life according to His will.
Hebrews 11:1
Psalm 20 – Rhoda Isabella
Forgiveness - Rev. Jenille Harrison
Have you heard the saying, forgiveness is for you, not the other person? When people hurt us, we tend to hold onto feelings and emotional baggage associated with that wrongdoing. Over time, we may find ourselves becoming sad, angry, depressed or even physically sick. Those feelings are becoming toxic in our bodies. The same can be said when we hurt ourselves or don’t take of ourselves. In an effort to heal, we have to let go of past hurt. Just as God forgives us when we fall short of His glory, so we should operate when it comes to those in our lives. As we go to pray, let us thank God for the mercies He has shown us and ask for a forgiving heart.
Matthew 6:14-15

Joy - Noel Chase
A songwriter once wrote, I’ve got the joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart, down in my heart to stay, I’ve got the love of Jesus, down in my heart, down in my heart to stay. When you have allow the Holy Spirit to fill you with the love of God, it is able to help you find peace and joy in all situations of life. As we go to pray, thank God for His many blessings and ask Him to fill you with an overflow of peace and joy, a spirit of gratitude and contentment, but most of all fill you with the desire to always seek Him because He is the source of our happiness.
Psalm 30:5; 2 Corinthians 4:17

Letting Go
A songwriter once wrote, sometimes you have to lose, to win again. You see sometimes in life, we are so consumed with acquiring things of this world, things that signify status and power that we forget that the ultimate prize we should be in pursuit of is to be with reunited with God in Heaven. Don’t me wrong, it’s nice to have and want nice things but it shouldn’t come at the cost of our eternal souls, the acquisition of those worldly possessions should not be a distraction from our relationship with God. As we go to pray, let us ask God to help us stay focused on pursuing Him with the same intensity and fervor we show in other areas of our lives.

Fear Is Not My Future - Ft. Tasha Cobbs Leonard
Counting the Cost - Noel Chase
You’ve probably heard the followings phrases, nothing in life is free and anything worth having is worth fighting for. With regards to our Christian walk, and our roles as disciples of Christ, both statements are true and they speak to the choices and sacrifices we need to make in order to follow and serve Jesus. As we go to pray, let us ask God to remove the things in our lives that are not in alignment with His plans for us.

Intentional Availability - Rev. Jenille Harrison
Every day of our lives we are constantly making choices, and some of those choices are easier to make than others. One daily choice that should be easy to make but isn’t always is choosing to be obedient to the Holy Spirit, being obedient to what God has called us to do. Sometimes we put conditions on our relationship with God, for example, we may say, I’ll pray when I find the time or I’ll meditate on His word when I get around to it. Fortunately for us, God doesn’t care for us on a conditional basis because if He did, where would we be right now? As we go to pray, ask God to help us become more intentional about seeking Him and making ourselves more available to be led by Him.
Isaiah 6:5-8

Ambassador Call - Pastor Justin
As a body of believers, we all are tasked with being ambassadors for Christ—that is our purpose in life is to be a representation of Christ in the way we live our lives and the way we interact with others. We are charged with living in such a way that our lives are testimonies of our faith in and commitment to God. As we pray, let us ask God to activate us in such a way that He can us to be His ambassadors, spreading the Gospel and connecting people to Christ.

Building Community - Min. Rachel David
In a world of billions of people, sometimes we can feel lonely and alone. Some people may even prefer to be by themselves for reason or another. That said, God never intended us to live alone, he intended for us to be able to come together, learn, thrive and fellowship with one another. Building community is essential for our development as Christians and for our role as disciples of Christ. As we go to pray, let us make ourselves available to the movement of the Holy Spirit and let us ask God to give us wisdom and guidance as we build and grow the communities in our lives.

Families -Pastor Justin
We hope that this has been a wonderful time for you to heal, reset, restore and get activated. As we conclude our 21 days of prayer and fasting, let us go to God in prayer asking for Him to touch every individual in our household and in our family and to move in their lives in unimaginable ways. Let us pray not only for continued protection and provisions for them but that they too can come to know God for themselves.
